About Toolhub

What Toolhub is

Toolhub is a collection of free developer and everyday utility tools that run entirely in your browser. No signup, no account, no tracking, no server-side processing. Paste your data in, get the result, close the tab โ€” nothing is stored or transmitted.

Why

Most online utility sites are ad-laden parking pages or shovel your data through fourteen third-party trackers before you even click anything. Toolhub is the alternative: one page, one tool, runs locally, leaves you alone.

Who

JXXR1, indie maintainer. No company, no funding round, no investors. Toolhub started as a side project to scratch a personal itch โ€” a single page that did one tool well โ€” and grew from there. Reachable via GitHub.

How it works

The site is static HTML hosted on GitHub Pages. Every tool runs as JavaScript in your browser โ€” no API calls, no server-side compute, no data leaves your device unless explicitly noted (for example the YouTube Thumbnail tool fetches an image from YouTube's CDN; everything else is purely local).

Open source

The full source is at https://github.com/JXXR1/Toolhub. Contributions, bug reports, and tool ideas are welcome via GitHub Issues.

No AI slop

Tool help blocks and translations are human-reviewed within reason, not pasted from an LLM. If you spot a translation that sounds robotic or wrong, open an issue โ€” it's an easy fix and the kind of contribution that makes the site better for everyone.
